I adore this Boohoo aviator jacket but I must give them a firm slap on the wrists I am afraid as they ran out of stock on the day It was due to arrive so I was not a happy girl. Luckily it looks like they have got some great alternatives and at only £45 it is a must buy this winter.

I always hate when people are way overdone for during the day; too much make up and over styling simply looks to try hard. I once worked with someone that could never step out the house without looking her very best, that suited her but for me I think looking a little more casual and ‘girl next door’ is nicer. Fresh make-up, loose hair and a simple but trendy outfit looks fab. Pair with a large tote bag and you are good to go.

3. This simple white tunic is great for summer and for an all day BBQ or for heading to uni. Its feminine but wearable, keep your hair and make up simple to avoid looking orange next to the pristine white.

There are however some amazing bag bargains on the high street just now making it very difficult to pick just one! At such great prices you may have to set a limit….well you can try anyway.

I love this Diesel glitter clutch, its really different and perfect for a night out!

It is a slight extravagance for a clutch bag at £70 but its worth every penny as black is the staple to every girls wardrobe!

Summer is fast approaching so get into the spirit with this gorgeous blue bag! It looks great with jeans or for hitting the beach.

I just bought this plain black corsage to brighten up a £3 t-shirt dress I got in the sale. It takes a boring outfit to a more interesting ensemble. Sold! And this cute pink corsage is from Primark and a bargain at £1!!

Corsages have been very heavily related to the nautical trend however can look great with plain bold vest, t-shirt dresses or to dress up a simple dress.

For the very cutesy girlie look go for pretty pink however for those with a little more imagination and edge try red, black, striped or even jewelled!

The corsage does not always need to just take pride of place on your clothing, for those brave enough try one of the great hair clips or hair bands for the summer! Not everyone can pull these off but when you do they look fab.

I wore a great Lipsy dress at christmas that I will be dawning again this summer as the pastel colours make it ideal in all seasons. There are many different Lipsy looks available therefore choose carefully because each one is likely to become a favourite.

I love this pink drape dress, its bang on trend with its colour and the drape adds elegance. It also has some great bling in the form of gems around the bust line. This is a girlie but glam dress, perfect for a night out with your girls or out with a significant other. If pink is not your favourite colour but you like the style then fear not it is also available in grey.

I really like this Lipsy grey ruffle top, its perfect for a day look or for a smart casual night time event like the pub. It will look lovely with leggings or skinnies and can be paired with flats or heels depending on the occasion. It is extremely easy to dress up with some fab bangles, a bit of volume in the hair and a great cocktail ring; how easy can it be?

If you are loving lace Lipsy then they do a great black blazer with lace detail; gorgeous! The blazer is great as it will make an outfit, there is no need for a fussy top, a great pair of skinny jeans a simple vest and a tiered necklace is all that is needed to keep it a classy look.

Another great dress is this babydoll number, it’s so cute but also has the right amount of sexy thrown in. This dress is perfect for those that do not have a huge bust, it will extenuate the little you do have with its bustier lining without looking inappropriate.

I for one started off with a couple of plain number and added jewellery to the mix to shake it up a little however I have to say some of my patterned lovelies have come up trumps on a cheeky night out. They save that monthly bloat being on display and still look chick, pair with skinnies and some great heels – voilà!

I love this New look asymmetric number, its glitzy and perfect for a night out with the girls or with that special someone!

Check out this Oli top, at only £28 its a great buy for night or day time. The look works well for all occasion.

For a great plain version try this one available at Miss Selfridge. Its bang on the pastel trend in pink and can be easily spruced up with a fab necklace and bangles.

One of my favourite picks is from Dorothy perkins. Polka dots, lace and camisole should not work but it just does, the asymmetric hem line take it from girlie to chick and dresses it up so it can be worn at night time events.

I love nautical, I love playing with the look in my clothes and accessories! Red is hot and lifts the general black and white striped trend, whether its through a splash of cherry lip gloss or a great corsage.

I wore this great boohoo t shirt dress out with one of my best friends the other night.

I teamed it with my staple blazer, some great red shoes and some fab red earrings.

The nautical look may be hitting repeat at the moment but have fun with it and get key pieces that you won’t get sick of. This little number was a bargain and it was worth every penny as I can re wear it for a great day look!

Another great way to update the nautical look is with corsages, go bold and big to make a sailor statement. For those that find it a little daunting then there is plenty of fab ‘ready made’ numbers out there.

If stripes do not appeal then join the trend with some cute accessories. Update a simple LBD with a bit of sailor bling or a bright and bold scarf!

The great thing about patterned tights is that you can wear them through spring and not feel like you are missing out on the summer trends. They look great with flat shoes, skirts, dresses and come in some on trend pastel shades. For the in between weather months they are perfect for keeping your look up to date and fresh.

I never would have tried the look a few years ago as they reminded me of my youth where my mum would dress my sister and I in some fetchy patterned times, but I have to admit the trend is coming back and as always mum was right!

For those that want to try out the trend without going too pattern crazy they come in the safety of black!

Have some fun with florals, keep the rest of the outfit simple. Play down accessories and hair, let the pins do the talking or the walking shall we say!
